As a governmental not-for-profit corporation, the Institute for Building Technology and Safety (IBTS) helps its clients to evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and operations, as well as products and components for performance-based or prescriptive standards. IBTS strives to provide private sector efficiency with governmental credibility.

Contract and Grant Vehicles
Federal agencies can obtain IBTS's services with minimum paperwork using General Services Administration (GSA) schedules. State and local government can also obtain IBTS's information systems, services, and/or support through a cooperative agreement using GSA Schedule 70. As a public service organization, we are able to offer services to the government without going through a competitive procurement process.
